Dr Mariana is a pediatrics resident physician at Pediatrics and Obstetrics Hospital of Lattakia. Mariana believes that scientific research has a great role in rebuilding and rehabilitating Syria. She also believes in the necessity of becoming an active and productive part in science rather than just a recipient. Mariana created the Research Resource Center or RRC at MED thus aiming to provide rich arabic content on all aspects of research for interested students and doctors and aspiring researchers.

On the other hand, she enjoys skygazing, learning more on astronomy and space, photographing nature, listening to music and watching movies.
